Greenpoint Art Circle is a community of visual artists in and around Brooklyn who are interested in growing their creative practices and developing relationships within the NYC art world. Most of our events — drawing together, critique nights, goal-setting and resource-sharing sessions, and more! — are free and open to the public, to reduce barriers to participation and foster new connections. Supporting members participate in group shows, lead workshops, collaborate on group projects, and access other benefits. By joining us, you bring us towards our vision: a thriving, inclusive community of local visual creators in mutually-beneficial conversation with each other, with neighborhood organizations and with the local arts ecosystem.

We strive to be a dynamic and respectful group where all voices are welcome. We seek to be an antidote to an overly judgmental and elitist creative culture and to support one another’s authentic, individual goals as well as to collaborate on group projects and initiatives that bring art into the world.

Greenpoint Art Circle was founded in 2019. We operate in a nonprofit capacity via a fiscal sponsorship from the arts advocacy organization Fractured Atlas. Visit our Instagram to stay current on our members’ work and group events, opportunities, and resources, plus reposts of great local arts opportunities and events.
